Parent coaching is built on trust. All reasonable steps are taken to ensure that personal information is treated with care, respect, and confidentiality.

All information shared during coaching sessions—including personal, family, parenting, and child-related matters—is treated as confidential.

Information will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except in the limited circumstances outlined below.

Confidentiality may be broken only when legally or ethically required, including if:

  • There is a serious risk of harm to you, your child, or another person

  • There is disclosure of abuse, neglect, or safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable person

  • Disclosure is required by law, court order, or regulatory authorityWhere possible and appropriate, this will be discussed with you before any disclosure is made.

  • Background information relevant to parenting or family circumstances

  • Session notes and coaching reflections

  • Provide parent coaching services

  • Communicate with you regarding appointments and services

  • Secure digital storage (password-protected devices or platforms)

You have the right to:

  • Request corrections to inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations)

Information about children is handled with particular care. Only information relevant to supporting you as a parent is collected. Children do not engage directly in coaching unless explicitly agreed and appropriate consent is provided.

If third-party platforms are used (e.g., scheduling, video calls, payment processors), they are selected for their compliance with data protection standards. Each third party is responsible for its own data handling practices.
